Ablaze! for God's Mission
is a movement to inspire individuals and congregations in the Southeastern District to respond as recipients of God's abundant grace through the sharing of resources in the work of mission.
Thank you! With your participation and support we have almost reached the Ablaze! for God’s Mission goal of $6,000,000. With your help, 23 missions in the Southeastern District are being funded, global mission work is being supported, and local circuits are funding new work. Praise God for the generous hearts and actions of District congregations and individual donors.
We are almost there! A special Ablaze! Miracle Sunday will provide an opportunity for individuals in our SED congregations who have not yet participated in the mission campaign to do so. It can be a special Lenten offering that includes children in our schools. It will enable those who have made a contribution to add to their gift, if they so desire. Together we can reach the goal!
We have prepared the following Ablaze! Miracle Sunday resources for you. They are in pdf format so that you can easily download them, please print as many as needed. Also, you may contact Vicki at the District office to request printed copies of the materials. You will need to provide the date of your Miracle Sunday, which resources you are requesting and the number needed. You may call Vicki at 800.637-5723 or email her at vedwards@se.lcms.org.

Please remember this effort in the regular prayers of the congregation.
Distribute the special offering envelopes in advance of your Miracle Sunday and encourage members to prayerfully consider their gift. These funds will be received by the congregation as a designated gift; individuals’ checks will be made out to your congregation. Then a check for the amount received on Miracle Sunday should be sent to the Southeastern District.
As ministries throughout the Southeastern District partner in Ablaze! Miracle Sunday, we can rejoice in the many ways God brings together His people to serve in mission and ministry. Thank you for joining us in this effort.
