Upon counsel of the SED Board of Directors, the SED Staff, the LCMS President, the LCMS Secretary, the Chairman of the Council of Presidents and other District Presidents, President Denninger has made the decision to change the Southeastern District Convention to Friday, October 22, 2021.

The 2021 Convention will be held in two parts.

  • Part 1 - Online/Virtual Gatherings - The Opening Worship, the SED President’s Report, SED Board of Directors Report, the Synod Visitor’s Report, and the Essayist will be provided via Zoom, two or three evenings during the week prior to a one-day convention.
  • Past 2 - One day in-person convention on Friday, October 22, 2021 to be held in Richmond, Virginia. This will be in-person time for devotions, elections and resolution work. Synod representatives would still be present with us for a time of Question and Answers.
