We are so excited to announce the re-launch of the SED High School Fall Retreat on Friday, November 4 through Sunday, November 6, 2022. This year’s district retreat will be held at Northern Virginia 4H Conference Center in Front Royal, VA.

Our theme is “Refresh,” which comes from Jeremiah 31:25 – [God says] “I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.” At times, high school can feel overwhelming and often students get worn-down or burned-out from all of the demands and expectations placed on them. This retreat offers teens an opportunity to put those things aside and be refreshed by a God who knows exactly what we need – breathing new life into our weary souls. This is going to be an awesome weekend filled with challenging games, outdoor activities, passionate and relevant speakers, interactive Bible studies, powerful worship experiences, group bonding, intentional relaxation, and so much more. After a pandemic induced hiatus, we are pleased to relaunch this retreat and extend our reach to the entire Southeastern District.  Our fall retreats have been a highlight for many of our students – in fact — many past participants considered them to be a pivotal moment in their faith journey… and we hope that this year’s retreat will have that same powerful impact on your life too. Words can’t express how much we want to see you there!

The cost for this retreat is $125.00 which covers all meals (Saturday and breakfast on Sunday), lodging, a t-shirt, and use of the many 4H Conference Center amenities. There are a limited number of spots reserved for this retreat.

Registration is open now!  Each church will register as a congregation.  Student and Adult info will be collected mid-late October.
