LCEF is standing by to meet the needs of those impacted by Helene. Our prayers go out to our brothers and sisters who are impacted by the horrible rains and subsequent floods of Hurricane Helene. As needs are identified, LCEF will be there to meet them. LCEF has Disaster Assistance and Response loans to help churches repair and rebuild. Each need will be independently accessed but at a minimum, these loans carry 0% interest and no monthly payments for the first 12 months.
Natural Disaster Assistance and Response loans are available to all LCMS churches and Recognized Service Organizations (RSOs). Please contact Kirk Hymes (khymes@se.lcms.org) with your situation and need and let’s have a discussion to get your church back in operation. Our members will definitely have spiritual needs that the congregation is well-positioned to help with.
