Getting There
Sky Train from PHX Airport
- From your terminal, follow signs to the PHX Sky Train – it’s free and runs 24/7.
- Ride the Sky Train to 44th St/Washington Station, where it connects directly to the Valley Metro Light Rail.
- Purchase a Valley Metro ticket – one-way fare is $2.00.
- Board the westbound Light Rail toward Downtown Phoenix.
- Exit at 3rd St/Washington Station (about 14 minutes).
- Walk approximately 2-3 blocks to the Renaissance – 100 N. 1st Street, a 5-minute walk from the station.
Terminal → PHX Sky Train (free) → 44th St/Washington → Valley Metro Light Rail ($2) → 3rd St/Washington → 5-min walk to hotel
Heat Advisory
The walk from the light rail stop to the hotel is about 5 minutes – but in 105F+ heat with luggage, a taxi, Uber, or Lyft may be the better choice. The Valley Metro App (available on iOS and Android) is helpful for planning your rail trip if you go that route.

- Bring an empty water bottle – CPS hydration stations throughout the convention
- SED shirts distributed Sunday morning at breakfast
- Average high is 105F+ – sunscreen and extra hydration are essential
