This October, we are heading to the mountains.

Asheville, North Carolina in the Fall is one of the best places to be, and that is why we choose it as our backdrop for our Fall 2026 conference, and yes actually in the heart of the city! Peak color in the Blue Ridge, great local food and shops in walking distance, a city full of life, and crisp mountain air – even your drive will be stunning. It is a genuinely wonderful place to spend a few days, and we are so glad to be gathering there this year for our first combined church worker and educator conference!

RENEWED is the 2026 SED Church Workers and Educators Conference, three days of worship, good teaching, great conversation, and time to simply be with your people. Whatever your role in the SED, church worker or educator, this conference is for you.

Ministry is not easy. The verse we are gathering around names that honestly, afflicted, perplexed, struck down. But it does not stop there. Not crushed. Not despairing. Not destroyed. And just a few verses later, the quiet promise that runs underneath all of it: our inner self is being renewed day by day.

That is what we are coming together to remember.
