Join us for the next Witness Engagement Gathering as we come together to pray earnestly for God’s mission throughout the Southeastern District.
Featured Presenter Rev. Dr. Andrew T. Okai, pastor of Holy Nativity Lutheran Church in Arbutus, Maryland, will lead a discussion on the power of prayer and its role in God’s mission. Rev. Quentin Poulson, pastor of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, will also join us to share information about the Southeastern District Prayer Network.
About This Gathering “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” — Matthew 9:37–38
As we witness the Lord at work throughout the Southeastern District, we invite congregations and believers to join in praying for the harvest — that God would continue to raise up, equip, and send faithful laborers who will engage their communities, build authentic relationships, share the hope of Christ, and help establish and strengthen new mission opportunities.
