I. Delegate and Voter Preparation (2025–2026)

Now – October 18, 2025

Elect your circuit forum representatives

Nominate advisory delegates (nonvoting)

Submit nominations for:

• Synod Secretary

• Boards and commissions (elected at convention)

October 18, 2025 – February 18, 2026

Submit nominations for:

• Synod President

• First Vice-President

• Regional Vice-President

October 18, 2025 – March 8, 2026

• Register your voter(s) for the Synod President election
  (Replacements allowed through May 29, 2026)

II. Overtures & Reports

Before February 28, 2026 (preferably before February 1)

• Submit overtures for convention consideration

• Submit reports from congregations, groups, or individuals

By April 25, 2026

• Convention Workbook is published (includes overtures and reports)

Until May 16, 2026

• Submit comments on the Workbook to the Secretary (used by floor committees)

By June 8, 2026

• Today’s Business – First Edition is published (includes proposed resolutions)

Until July 11, 2026

• Submit comments on Today’s Business resolutions to the Secretary

III. Presidential Election Timeline

February 28, 2026 – Deadline for identifying candidates

June 6–30, 2026 – Congregation President Voters cast their votes

By July 4, 2026 – Election results announced

IV. Key Convention Events

May 29 – June 1, 2026 – Floor Committee Weekend (tentative)

July 17, 2026 – Closed floor committee meetings (afternoon)

July 18, 2026

• 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. – Open Floor Committee Hearings

• 1:30 p.m. – Delegate Orientation

• 7:00 p.m. – Opening Worship

July 19–23, 2026 – Convention business sessions

July 23, 12:00 p.m. – Convention closes
