Theology for the Whole Church
The Academy
of the Southeastern District
The Academy exists to care for the intellectual and spiritual wellness of our district. We have gathered some of the finest scholars in our district to offer rigorous, in-depth courses for pastors, deaconesses, teachers, and lay leaders who want to go deeper in His Word.
We are launching this fall with two courses and a growing calendar of one-time seminars, with more on the way. We’re excited to keep building toward an expanding range of topics and studies that you can grow in at a scholarly level.

Greek I
An introduction to the grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure of biblical Greek — designed for students who wish to read the New Testament in its original language. No prerequisite required.

Confessions of the Faith
An exploration of the context and substance of the Lutheran confessional documents — equipping students to know the faith the Book of Concord confesses and to confess that same faith today.
Seminars Coming This Fall
Focused single-session offerings on targeted topics are being finalized and will be announced here soon.
