High school is a time when making plans becomes a regular part of life. Whether it’s plans to hang out, plans to play sports or join a club, or plans for the future, making a plan is just what you do. But what about the plan God has for your life? How does that plan fit into the ones you’re making? And what happens when things don’t go according to your plan? As we walk through Jeremiah 29, we’ll explore the immense comfort, hope, and joy found in the promise that God has a plan for us, and that plan is better than anything we can imagine.

Speaker: Rev. Nick GonzalezOur keynote, Rev. Nicholas Gonzalez, serves as the Associate Pastor of The Lutheran Church of St. Andrew in Silver Spring, MD, where he focuses on Youth and Family Ministry. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis in 2019. He was born and raised in New Jersey and loved being so close to New York! He is a big New York sports fan (Go Yankees!), but his favorite sport is soccer. He played while in college at Concordia College – New York and Concordia University Wisconsin.
MC: Hannah GillrupHannah graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with a Communications degree and her Director of Church Ministries LCMS certification. She currently lives in Richmond, VA, serving as the Communications Director of the Southeastern District Office of the LCMS. She grew up north of Tampa, FL loving the beach, and since has lived in WA State, Wisconsin, Maryland, and now calls Virginia home. Hannah loves her new husky Phoenix, weight-lifting, watching anime, having deep conversations (especially about faith), and trying new food!
